The Olney 7s tournament saw another fantastic performance from the Pod Rugby 7s team. Not only did they make it to the gruelling final but they won against local team Crispen Rhodes Crusaders with a final score of 22 against 5. With the 7s season coming to an end POD have one more challenge to go at the Worthing 7s tournament later this month. We look forward to seeing you there!

Originally launched in 1976, the original Pod shoes have re-emerged from the deepest and darkest depths of the Pod archives to celebrate the launch of the Pod Heritage collection. Consisting of two key collections, English Soul and Rubber Soul, Pod Heritage is set to spark a retro revolution across UK streets for Spring Summer 2010.
The Pod Heritage collection is dedicated to the decades of youth culture movements in music that have been fundamental to British fashion. Therefore, each style has been named after an iconic artist from contemporary music history. Along with symbolic branding and British design, Pod Heritage is truly representative of a Cool Britannia.
We are pleased to announce that our rainbow bright Podlers will be showcasing their autumn-winter 2010 collection at the Bubble Trade Show this January.
Now that they're all grown up we've decided to let them loose around London and we'd love for you to come and visit these cheeky chappies. So if you do happen to spot them please make sure that they're behaving themselves!

Drawing on its heritage roots, casual footwear brand Pod has launched a sub-brand for spring 10 called Pod Heritage.
Aimed at indies, the range is divided into two stories. English Soul features Pod's original crepe sole, soft leathers and Union Jack branding. Rubber Soul focuses on brighter colours teamed with a rubber sole. The spring 10 range is slated for a May delivery. For more details call 01234 240 440 or email sales@aegisshoes.co.uk

The urban hiker Valiant features in the XL range
The Pod collection is quite literally expanding with the launch of their XL range.
Key styles from the men's range have been selected to go large including formal and casual shoes and boots, with sizes ranging from 47 to 50.
Pod will be exhibiting the full XL range at Moda this August.
Over 30 years since they first stepped out onto the footwear market, the original Pod shoes are back to celebrate their retro revival with the re-launch of the iconic Pin-Punch design.
The new licensees are taking the designs back to their summer of '76 roots, which include new and improved original features, like the trapezium logo and Pod man swing tags.
The initial re-launch includes the Union Jack colours with more to follow at Moda this August.

We eventually managed to track Pod man down for a quick chat to find out what he thought....It turns out that he's more of a Led Zeppelin kind of guy..his favourite song being 'A Whole Lotta Pod'.
